A little about your therapist:
Immediately following my undergraduate studies at State University of N.Y. at
Buffalo in Computer Science, I spent the next 10 years both completing my graduate work at New
Jersey Institute of Technology and developing interface programs/applications for AT&T's East
Coast Division units. Within the next 10 years, after leaving AT&T, an opportunity to take my
application development skills to the international market came with a job offer to work for "The
Yellow Pages" in The Netherlands where I continued to develop successful, experimental and
cutting edge applications in the picturesque and dynamic European City of Amsterdam.
In addition to a new language, I learned a new approach to problem
solving and an enriched quality of life. Although these years in Information
technology were successful and financially rewarding, I found myself out of
balance emotionally and spiritually. I
admired how my then massage therapist was able to incorporate
mind, body, and spirit, to have a more balanced life and wanted that
for myself too. So at the beginning of 2006, I decided to leave a successful 20
year career and focus all the skills I have mastered into a new career. For
almost 1 year, I trained and mastered Massage Therapy at Ridge
Career Center School of Massage where I graduated top of my class. Practicing
since 2007, I am currently licensed by the State of Florida (Lic# MA49252) and certified
by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). The NCBTMB fosters
high standards for massage therapists. As part of my national licensing the NCBTMBs' standards and Code of Ethics are strictly followed
Professional member of the Florida Massage Therapy Association(FSMTA)and covered under the FSMTA insurance program.
